二、Comparison of the production of ammonium molybdate ion exchange method and traditional technology

  The molybdenum calcine method for the purification of raw material of molybdenum compounds have the classic traditional process, extraction process and ion exchange process. These three kinds of technology have their characteristics, but there are some defects.

  1 Classic Traditional technology. This is our country at present wide application method and improved method, is characterized by simple equipment, small investment, the characteristics of small volume, but this method exist the following disadvantages:

  (1) the leaching rate of baked sand is not high, and the slag is not easy to be recovered in the process, which leads to the low recovery rate and high cost;

  (2) the impurity removal effect is poor, the product is more difficult to guarantee;

  (3) poor adaptability of raw materials;

  (4) the working environment is poor, and the equipment is easy to be corroded;

  (5) automatic control is not easy to implement.

  2 extraction process. The process has a small amount of processing, recovery rate higher characteristic, but the method existence environment is poor, it is difficult to ensure product, investment costs and other shortcomings.

  3 ion exchange process. This process is one of the important technologies of modern smelting, and the method has the following advantages:

  (1) the impurity removal effect is good, the product quality can be guaranteed;

  (2) the variety of materials needed by the method is few, and the ion exchange resin can be used repeatedly, and the material movement is little;

  (3) easy to implement automatic control, to improve labor productivity and reduce labor intensity, good working environment, good social benefits.

  (4) strong adaptability of raw materials, in particular, can deal with all kinds of low grade roasted sand, and thus the production cost is low;

  (5) the company earlier master ion exchange advanced technology, the process of ion exchange is conducive to make full use of the existing technology and equipment to accelerate the pace of construction;

  Above on molybdenum smelting several process analysis from technical and economic point of view, whether from the point of view of technology, environmental protection by ion exchange method for the production of molybdenum compounds is with some advantages, the production cost will is better than other methods. In summary, the ion exchange process for our company molybdenum smelting process should be pushed to the first choice.
